Factory Automation

Factory Automation is the production backbone of StarRupture. Players build networks of extractors, processors, and logistics buildings connected by a rail-based transport system to automate resource gathering and manufacturing. Raw ores are extracted from deposits, smelted into bars, fabricated into components, and assembled into increasingly complex products.

The rail system serves dual purposes: transporting items between buildings and distributing power across the base. Efficient factory layouts, proper rail routing, and balanced production ratios are critical for meeting corporation delivery requirements and scaling operations to handle late-game recipes that demand multiple processing steps.
